The home of Jarno Eggen and the charming Cindy Borger is magnificent. They gave this stately building a contemporary decor and incorporated personality into it, like the chef’s former skateboards. The terrace at the back, overlooking the vegetable garden and the mill, is heavenly. Chef Eggen grinds his own flour wich he used for the bakery for the bread and pastry. Here chef Eggen can tell his creative story the way he wants it.
Local ingredients take on an exotic depth thanks to exotic influences. He dares to combine surprisingly, but always finds the right balance. He gives an extra dimension to scallops with a soft jalapeño cream and an oh so elegant foam of cinnamon. Chef Eggen takes you on a challenging journey of discovery, familiar and innovative at the same time. An exciting adventure!
