"At just 18 years old, Juanlu starts working with the great master Martin Berasategui, and begins to learn everything he can about technique, precision and determination necessary to be in a restaurant of this caliber. At the age of 21, he moved to Tenerife to continue working with Martin Berasategui, learning more about cooking, management and leadership every day.

At only 23 years old, he started in Aponiente as head chef. After 10 years in charge of the kitchen of Ángel León, qualifying all his knowledge about the sea and the coast along with research into French cuisine in his spare time. Decide to undertake freely.

At 33 years old, after getting 3 Michelin stars, 3 Soles Repsol and many other awards; He decides to explore the possibilities of his kitchen without limitations in which he can capture his personality and the madness of his kitchen. That is when LÚ opens. In his hometown.

Lú is the maximum expression as Juanlu's chef where he exhibits his French cuisine, an academic cuisine that has partly been lost in the current avant-garde and we have the job of recovering it and updating it with Andalusian touches.
