Virginie de Pichon-Longueville, Comtesse de Lalande by marriage, was a hard-working pioneer in the promotion of her wines' reputation and soon lent her name to the estate that would become Château Pichon Longueville Comtesse de Lalande. A true family history, the estate has seen several influential personalities succeed one another, injecting both ambition and modernity.
